
Objectifs du Forum
The agenda of the meeting was :(1)-to strengthen stronger collaboration between water and sanitation CSOs in Africa, (2)- to review progress made by ANEW in the last two years, (3)- to elect new leadership on ANEW, (4)- to plan and strategize for the implementation of the EU project, (6)- to develop advocacy plans for the next two years.

11 members were elected to the Board of Trustees to lead ANEW for the next two years. Prof. Edward Kairu was elected as the Board Chair and other members come from the 5 Sub regions of ANEW. The Elected members are: 1. Eastern Africa Ø Prof. Edward Kairu ( Maji na Ufanisi, Kenya) Ø Yunia Mussazi ( Water Aid, Uganda) Ø 2. Frank Habineza ( Nile Basin Discourse Forum, Rwanda) 2. Western Africa: Ø Malick Gaye ( Enda Rup, Senegal) Ø Patrick Apoya ( CONIWAS, Ghana) 3. Southern Africa: Ø Laila Smith ( Mvula Trust, South Africa) Ø Felix Monggae ( NAWISA, Botswana) 4. Central Africa: Bathermy Tsafack Tagny (WESDE, Cameroon) Ø Georgette Ingani (CREPA, Republic of Congo) 5. Northern Africa Ø Essam Nada ( AOYE, Egypt ) Ø Amer Jeridi ( APNEK, Tunisia). The meeting provided a unique opportunity for ANEW members across the continent to review their progress and plan for the next two years. The General assembly also revised it constitution to accommodate the organizations growth and expansion. With this constitution.
